Description

The Parish Hall dates back some 100 years it has recently undergone a refurbishment to provide a light, airy and welcoming space, measuring some 20 x 9 metres in addition there is a large stage measuring 6 x 8 metres, with a rear exit to adjoining rooms. It is licensed to hold up to 250 people. Joining the hall is a new state of the art, fully equipped kitchen; there is a separate ‘self-contained bar’ within the hall. Gents, ladies and disabled toilets lead off from the hall.
The community hub which is attached to the Parish Hall provides further space for hire, these include:-
IT Suite – This space was designed with IT in mind; the room can be cleared of IT equipment and set out for smaller group meetings or for counselling/therapeutic sessions.
Conference Room – This is a versatile room that can be set up to meet your needs, whether it be a conference table setting or set out for an informal community group. The room holds and seats up to 30 people, it is a light and airy room on the 1st floor served by a lift for those who prefer not to use the stairs.
The Foyer – This is a light and airy ‘welcoming’ space, ideal to reach building users and members of the community.
Kitchen – This is a brand new facility with plenty of preparation space including an ‘island.’ There are three ovens, grill, 4 ring hob, dishwasher, fridge and a wall mounted hot water dispenser for drinks. The kitchen is stocked with a good supply of crockery and cutlery. It also has its own entrance making it ideal for business hire.
Child Care Centre – This is a self-contained, purpose built child care facility with child friendly toilets and dedicated outdoor space.
FREE Wi Fi – is available throughout the community hub.
Car Parking – A free car park is available next to the Hall with additional on street parking.

Directions

enter the village on the main road and keep on that road till it ends at the T junction with the Edgcumbe pub. Turn right into Station Road at this T junction and the Hall is clearly visible about 100 yards on the left.
