A spacious Victorian community building close to the historic and picturesque centre of Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park which includes the Town Council offices and library. A large event hall is available on the first floor which seats up to 250 people and includes a stage for productions, 2 meeting rooms on the ground floor which seat 60 people each or can be opened up into one large 'L' shape room. There is also a Council Chamber which may be used on occasions and a further small meeting room will be available in the future. The rooms are serviced by 2 kitchens, a bar and toilets which are currently being refurbished to include disabled and baby changing facilities. Tables and chairs are available in all the rooms. Room hire is available 7 days a week although please check with the Town Clerk for availability as we have regular weekly bookings

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

From Exeter - take the first signposted junction from the A38 to Buckfastleigh and Buckfast and turn left at the mini roundabout onto Dart Bridge Road. Follow this road with the town on your right until you reach a signposted junction on your right into Plymouth Road. Continue on this road past the car park on your right and follow the left hand bend. The Town Hall is on your left opposite the primary school on Bossell Road. From Plymouth - take the first signposted junction from the A38 for Buckfastleigh and Dean Prior and continue along this road until you reach the first junction on your left into Plymouth Road. Continue as above.
