Set in the heart of rural Mid Devon, this hall is just across from the church and the Manor House, the home of the Cruwys family since the reign of King John. it is a lovely location for a summer party, hog roast, BBQ or child's party with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play, for £20 including light use of the kitchen for a half day. Built around 1928, our hall has not been modernized as we are trying to raise funds to rebuild. However, despite not having a cooker, it is quite well equipped, with a range of crockery, cutlery and glasses, including soup bowls and spoons, jugs, tea pots and dishes. Electrical appliances consist of microwave,2 ring boiler, slow cooker, small food warmer, deep fat fryer, 2 kettles and an urn. It has two sink units. in a well laid out galley style kitchen area adjacent to the bar /serving area. The hall does not have a permanent alcohol license but you may be able to apply for a TEN from the council, subject to the necessary permission from the Hall Management Committee. There is a small fixed stage.
