The facilities consists of a 280 Sq/metre building with a lobby entrance, disabled toilet, ladies toilets gents urinal and separate WC,a large fully fitted kitchen and a hall of 200 Sq metres. Heating is supplied via electric convertor heaters in kitchen and toilets and tow large hot air convectors in the main hall.. The facility is easily accessable for all people including the disabled. There is a large tarmac car park accessed via a wide gate from the adjoining lane, can hold approximately 50 cars. The facility is surrounded by a 6 acre grass field which has a fenced children's play area with swings etc. The hall can accomodate 120 people seated, with chairs and tables being available in storerooms. The venue is new, being completed in November 2011. It is very suitable for most events and activities and the Management Committee is always willing to hear from prospective users.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

From Totnes follow A381 to Halwell village going past the church on the left for 100m to turning marked to Moreleigh on the right hand side. Follw this road down and then up hill passing Stanborough Farm on the LHS. Shortly on the right is the enterance to the village hall car park. Access to the site is via a £1 returnable locking device similar to shopping trolly locks.
