Substantial brick built building, erected in 1958. Large main hall will seat 200 theatre style or 100-120 for dinner. Large stage will take up to 18 piece band. Fully equipped kitchen on ground floor. Upper level has a Meeting Room for up to 35 people and Bar. Ground floor also houses Ladies and Gentlemans Cloakrooms and Toilet for the Disabled. There is a hearing loop in the main hall and a stairlift to the upper floor. The hall hosts the Short Mat Bowls Club twice weekly and the Badminton and Table Tennis Club, also twice weekly. In addition, many local organisations use the hall for coffee mornings, craft fairs, table top sales, dinner/dances and the hall is an excellent venue for Wedding Receptions.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:
