South Brent Old School Community Centre was created in 1997 from a former Primary School build in 1876. The Community Centre comprises three letting spaces: The Hall has a sprung pine floor and an upright piano. This room measures 9.7 x 6.8m = 66m² and is best suited to functions of up to 100 people, be this birthday parties, choir practice, dancing or a fundraising event. Folding tables and fabric covered chairs can be made available for this space. The Craft Room, is a bright room with excellent northern light. It measures 9.3 x 5.3m = 49m² and has its own sink and water supply. This room is suitable for meeting or classes of up to 25 people or can be laid out in a conference style for an Annual General Meeting to accommodate 40 people. The Teaching Room is a much cosier space measuring 6.6 x 5.7m = 37.5m² and is ideal for smaller groups of up to 15 people. This space is shared with South Brent After School Club, who use the room from 15:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. The Centre also hosts South Brent Pre School, South Brent After School CLub, South Brent Community Library and Devon Adult and Community Learning Classes. Refreshment facilities are available in the Servery along with Public Access Internet and Photocopier.

From Exeter by Car: From the A38 take the A385 Marley Head exit toward Paignton/South Brent/Avonwick/B3210. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto A385 heading Exeter/A38/South Brent/Avonwick/B3372. At the second roundabout, take the 1st exit onto B3372 Exeter Road heading to South Brent/Avonwick.
