A modern well equipped village hall with a main hall with a capacity in theatre style of up to 175 people. Additionally there is a side hall which can be used seperately or in conjunction with the main hall as a cafe or bar area. There is a well equipped commercial standard kitchen adjacent to the main hall with a servery access to the main hall. A smaller committee room is also on the ground floor which can be used for meetings or other events. There is an upper room - known as "The Stansbury Room" which is equipped for conferences and meetings as well as other events. It has a capacity for 40 people theatre style or 25 people as a meeting room or classroom. The upper room has a kitchenette equipped for the preparation of refreshments. There is a lift available for access to the upper room as well as modern toilet faciltities on the ground floor which include a disabled and baby changing facility.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

Exit A38 from Exeter at Marley Head (A385 Totnes) follow the signs for South Brent. On reaching the roundabout turn right to the village centre. At the end of the road turn right and then immediate right (Station Road) - Lloyds Bank on the left. Cross the railway bridge turn immediatly left the village hall is 250 yards on the right. Exit A38 from Plymouth at Carew Shell Service Station. Take the 2rd turning left (Plymouth Road) following signs for village centre. On entering village centre take right turn (Station Road) cross railway bridge turn immediatly left and the village hall is 250 yards on the right.
