Built in 1957, fully refurbished in 2006. The Hall offers a Main Hall that can seat up to 120 and large Stage. There are combined Loop System/Public Address System, projection screen and stage lighting. The small Side Hall can be used for small meetings, or as an annexe to the Main Hall (e.g. for food servery and/or bar). A kitchen is available with matching crockery and cutlery - it has a serving hatch to the Main Hall. The car park for up to 20 cars is adjacent to the Parish Council's Playing Field, with views across South Devon - it was resurfaced in 2008. Between 21st February and 21th April 2011, we will be rebuilding our TOILET BLOCK. For that period car parking spaces will be reduced to 12, temporary toilets will be in the car park and the entrance to the building will be to the rear of the hall. But it will be BUSINESS AS USUAL! All hirers have been given details of the how they will be affected. For revised floor-plan, see the pictures ... 25th October 2010. After Easter, the new toilets will be opened and the entrance will return to the front of the hall.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

From the A381 Newton Abbot - Totnes Road, 4 miles from Newton Abbot/ 6 Miles from Totnes. Travelling from Newton Abbot, turn right into Ipplepen, at Foredown Road (misleadingly shown as "East Street" on Google and most other on-line maps!). Travel straight ahead for approximately half a mile through the centre of the village, until the Village Hall is directly ahead of you at the junction of Silver Street and Biltor Road.

£11 per hour, £32 for a Child's Party or £70 for up to 6 hrs for an Adult's Party. Reduced rates are offered to parish residents. Please e-mail us for more datails.
