A charming and well-equipped Hall which can accommodate 80 people set in the beautiful village of South Pool at the head of a creek on the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary. South Pool Church and Village Hall started life as a stable block in 1824, then in 1932 the Church gave it to the village of South Pool to use as a Village Hall. It underwent substantial extension and refurbishment in the late 1990's and has been continually improved and upgraded ever since. It now has one large room capable of accomodating up to 80 people, with an adjoining kitchen. A smaller meeting room, and two WCs.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

From the Kingsbridge - Dartmouth Road turn South at Frogmore, signposted to South Pool. Follow the road for about one and a half miles into South Pool. Pass the Millbrook Inn on the left, then cross over a small bridge at the head of the creek. Turn left immediately (signposted Chivelstone) and South Pool Village Hall will be found after about 20 yards on the right.
