The Hall is conveniently located for Barnstaple, South Molton, Crediton, Honiton and Exeter as well as all the villages of North Devon. It is ideally sItuated near the village centre and gives the impression of being surrounded by the idyllic Devon countryside. The hall is a large building with accommodation for up to 200 people depending on the function. Tables and chairs are included in the hire charges. There are separate kitchens and bar rooms. A large, low set, stage with changing areas on each side is ideal for musical or theatre performances. A large adjacent field for sports or other outside events can usually be made available by special agreement.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here. Community services available at this Hall:  

The Hall is situated in the centre of the village only 50 metres from the ralway station. There are regular trains throughout the day, including Saturdays and Sundays, from Exeter and Barnstaple. By road the Hall is easy of access from the main A377 Barnstaple to Exeter Road and from the B3277 South Molton to Torrington Road. Approaching from Barnstaple turn left at the Rising Sun Inn, cross the bridge across the River Taw (not yet listed but better than many that are!), follow the road left and the Hall is immediately on the right. From Exeter turn right at rthe Rising Sun. If coming from South Molton the Hall is on the left just after you have crossed the railway bridge.
