Description

After fire destroyed the previous hall, there was much community fund raising which resulted in the building of the present hall opened in 1970.

It consisted of a main hall with stage, kitchen, toilets and a downstairs meeting room (The British Legion Room)
In 2005 after further fund raising an extension was added providing much additional storage space, a disable toilet and additional parking.
In 2006: A new kitchen was fitted with a new large capacity gas cooker and modern facilities.
In 2008: A new kitchen was installed for the committee room
               New stage curtains and curtains throughout
               Double glazed windows installed in the main hall.
In 2009:  A new sound system installed including loop for the hard of hearing
                 Fund raising for the upgrading of toilet facilities.
2010:     Work to commence to upgrade the toilet facilities.

British Legion Room	The room is ideal for small group meetings or classes. It has been recently decorated and has good natural light and views across Woolacombe Bay. Adjacent to the room is a small kitchen and single toilet.	30	40	8	30
Main Kitchen	The kitchen was refurbished in 2006 and is fitted with a new large capacity gas cooker, cooking utensils, saucepans, pots etc. There is matching china, and cutlery. There is an automtic hot water urn.
Main Hall	The hall was redecorated in 2008 and is approached from the main entrance lobby. The stage is fully equipped with a modern sound system and hearing loop. The main kitchen is situated at one end. Attatched to the main hall is an extension used for storage although the area is used used as a bar area for functions.	90	150	21	200

Directions

Follow the main road from Mullacott Cross into Woolacombe.  On approach to village, the hall is the first building on the left directly opposite the turning to Chichester Park.
